Happy Healthy Whole Living runs weekly Kids + Teens Yoga and Mindfulness classes in Engadine.
Classes include yoga poses and flows, games, mindfulness activities, art/craft and an introduction to meditation. Classes are engaging, with age-specific themes, run in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Classes cater for 3 age groups – Preschool age (3-5 years), Primary school age (5-12 years) and Teens (13-18 years), and are available to attend on a casual basis for $10 per class per child/teen.
Participants are encouraged to have fun and be creative, whilst building crucial social and emotional skills, and improving their physical fitness.
Classes are taught by Michelle Huby – an Engadine local, Mum to 2 young daughters, and qualified Kids Yoga Teacher. Michelle is particularly passionate about the wellbeing of children and teens – in the areas of mental health, nutrition and active lifestyle promotion.
If you are looking for an activity which builds strength, flexibility, coordination and balance, and boosts confidence and self-awareness – these classes are perfect for your child/teen.
Happy Healthy Whole Living also offers private lessons for those who would prefer a more individualised experience, or who cannot attend current timetabled classes.
